If you're looking for Washington State glamping, then our glamping on Orcas Island in Moran State Park will be perfect for you! Orcas Island is in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. You'll also find great glamping in Oregon at Vagabond Lodge. Hood River is just down the road!
Camp Policies 2016-11-13T19:12:43+00:00

You agree to be a steward of the sites that we get to enjoy and abide to the ‘leave no trace’ principles of responsible camping. Additionally, you must abide by all Washington State Park policies including the prohibition of any hazardous, dangerous or harmful substances.

You’ll enjoy a short uphill walk on uneven ground from your car to you outfitted camp site. We’re happy to help you haul luggage and also provide wheelbarrows to help get your gear up the hill. Just like any other outdoor adventure, try not to pack more than you can carry and remember, we can only accommodate one vehicle per glamping site!

We provide the tent and furnishings, you’ll provide any additional camping and recreation equipment like camp stoves, bicycles, kayaks, fishing poles, etc. For more on what to pack for Moran State Park, have a look here!

Confirming reservations

We confirm your reservation upon processing payment for 50% of the base rate of your stay with us for multiple night stays and by processing the full amount of your stay + tax as an advance deposit for one night stays. We will process your remaining balance on the day that you check in using your last used credit card and are unable to accept cash or checks.

Cancelling and modifying reservations

We operate a handful of sites in a remote location for a limited season so we ask that you take a moment to read and understand our cancellation policy below!

$50 + tax per site cancellation fee if you cancel 30 days before your scheduled arrival.

Deposit + tax per site cancellation fee if you cancel within 30 days of your scheduled arrival.

The full amount of your stay + tax is your cancellation fee if you cancel within three days of your scheduled arrival or if you don’t show up for your scheduled arrival. If you don’t show up for your scheduled arrival, we’ll also immediately cancel any remaining portion of your reservation.

Your deposit is non-refundable at the time of a based-on-availability date change within 30 days of your scheduled arrival. We can accommodate one date change per site booking based-on-availability and subject to a rate change within 30 days of your scheduled arrival.

We’re unable to offer any refund due to inclement weather. Exceptions may only be made for extreme weather events which may create unsafe camping conditions. If you decide to leave Camp early, we are unable to refund any unused portion of your stay with us.

Check in

Our regular check-in is 3pm – 4pm. Because we don’t have an office at Camp, we’ll give you a ring on the morning of your arrival to help with any last-minute questions and to pick a time to meet you if it falls outside of our regular check-in time.  We’re happy to accommodate arrivals outside of our regular check-in, we just need to know your arrival ahead of time!

Checking out

Check out is no later than 11am on your scheduled departure day. Need more time? Ask and we’ll see what we can do though late check-outs are usually unavailable for visits June – September.

General information

As we mentioned, all guests with confirmed reservations and glamping adventures slated for the State Parks understand and agree to the Washington State Parks policies.

Pets are not allowed and we kindly ask that you don’t smoke anything anywhere around Camp or in our tents. We take pride in being smoke free and fresh, so if you do smoke anywhere on our Camp premises, we’ll have to assess a minimum $250 fee.

As a guest, you also promise to take really good care of everything we’ve got and understand that if your use of our premises results in any excessive wear, tear, or damage, you’ll have to make it right by reimbursing us for repair to the damage caused.

You’ll be entering the great outdoors and will accept inherent risk with your adventure including wild animals and unpredictable conditions. We also advise you that your cell phone probably won’t work all that well.

There is no smoking, cooking, propane, heating devices, candles or open flames permitted inside or near the Glamping Equipment. The Glamping Equipment will be used only for outdoor sleeping accommodations for the permitted occupancy.

You understand that LEANTO is not responsible for any bodily injury, death, or real or personal property, including any loss, theft or damage, arising out of the setup, teardown and use, whether a Permitted Use or otherwise, of the Glamping Equipment or any consequential or incidental damages due to any delays, defects or unavailability of the Glamping Equipment or any repairs or replacements (collectively “Damages”). Renter waives any rights for Damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Glamping Equipment will offer zipper only security and Renter should take reasonable measures to protect the personal property of Renter, guests, and LEANTO during the Rental Period, including without limitation any time where the Glamping Equipment is left unattended.

We love peace and quiet and so will you and your neighbors. Please be respectful while enjoying music and use your inside voice while enjoying the company of your pals – especially after 9pm and before 8am.
