You take it from there.

If you’re thinking of a glamping San Juan Islands adventure this summer, it’s time to stop thinking, and to start booking! Our 2019 glamping season in Moran State Park is well underway, and our glamping sites are booking quickly. That said, we’ve still got some attractive dates available – especially if you’re looking to stay with us on Orcas Island before the 4th of July holiday.

Here are a few reasons that lots of guests prefer glamping in early June:

Daylight

With the sun rising right around 5am and hanging out until after 9pm, enjoying all of the outdoors you can handle is even easier! And, rest assured that there are lots of outdoors to enjoy. From hiking, to biking, to boating, Moran State Park offers almost endless opportunity for outdoor adventure.

Options

From ferries, to food spots, to hiking trails, to glamping sites, Orcas Island doesn’t quite reach its really busy levels until just before the 4th of July. While you can still find quiet parts of this grand Isle in July and August, they’re a little easier to come by in June.

Campfires

While there’s no guarantee that Washington State Parks won’t introduce a burn ban in June, historically, burn bans come later in the glamping season. If a campfire is an important part of your glamping experience, be sure to check current conditions, and then check our June rates and availability!
