2023 Season Experience Update: B.Y.O.B.  (bring your own bedding and bath supplies)

We setup cedar platforms with canvas tents on walk-in Moran State Park campsites.

You take it from there.

If you’re visiting our Moran State Park glamping sites, you’re likely planning to take the Washington State Ferry to Orcas Island. Because we want your adventure to be as amazing as possible, we’re sharing our travel tested tips for a great breakfast Anacortes, WA before the ferry boat ride.

Don’t forget to make a ferry reservation. If you’ve got your sailing time reserved, you’ll have to make it through the gate a half hour in advance of your sailing time. By planning ahead, you’ll be able to plan your most important morning meal. Remember, no ferry ride will be as much fun as it should be if you’re hungry!

As you drive up I-5 and Highway 20 to the Anacortes ferry terminal, there are plenty of spots to stop for great grub along the way. We’ve whittled down our focus to be on those easy to access and closest to the Anacortes Ferry terminal.
