2023 Season Experience Update: B.Y.O.B.  (bring your own bedding and bath supplies)

We setup cedar platforms with canvas tents on walk-in Moran State Park campsites.

You take it from there.

Rest assured that we remain thankful for our loyal guests, awesome team, and Washington State Parks counterparts. But, because we’ve acknowledged those groups in our previous posts, we’ll take this opportunity to acknowledge a handful of hardworking Orcas Island vendors.

Shipping and Receiving

The teams at the Olga Post Office as well as Aeronautical Services have been essential to our success. While we do our best to source all that we can right here on the Island, there are lots of items that we’ve got to get from elsewhere. We’re thankful for the prompt and friendly service of all the delivery drivers and folks working really hard behind the scenes to make sure that we receive what we need when we need it.

Keeping the wheels rolling

‘Wilbur,’ our intrepid cargo van, gets a pretty serious workout all summer long. That’s why we’re thankful for the team at Crescent Beach Service. They help us keep an eye on Wilbur to ensure that he’ll be up for the challenge season after season.

Fluff and fold

Last but not even close to least, we thank the kind folks at Country Corner Laundry. While Moran State Park is our work environment, folks at the laundry endure toastier temps and an industrial setting to help us keep our glamping sites fresh and clean. We’re so glad that they’re cranking away behind the scenes.

Do you love small towns?

We sure do. There’s no place that we’d rather be. If you’d like to visit our glamping sites in Moran State Park, go ahead and check our rates and availability. Who knows – you might even meet one of the neighbors mentioned above. Without them, your glamping experience in Moran State Park wouldn’t be possible.
