2023 Season Experience Update: B.Y.O.B.  (bring your own bedding and bath supplies)

We setup cedar platforms with canvas tents on walk-in Moran State Park campsites.

You take it from there.

Well friends, it’s seems that we’ve fallen back into that time of the year. Your internal clock is ticking along just fine and then – the time changes. If this early-onset darkness has got you down, keep reading for our fall back survival guide.

Here’s how to keep a sunny outlook all winter long, despite the fall back:

1. Read our blog

We realize that there are lots of blogs out there. We also realize that you’ve barely got enough time to tie your shoes. That’s all the more reason to check-in with us and read our blog from time to time. We post every few weeks and do our best to offer insight to help you plan your summer vacation or just keep tabs on what’s happening in the San Juan Islands.

2. Watch our videos

If you’d rather watch than read, we’ve got you covered. We’ve got a channel on YouTube as well as a page on our website that showcases the videos we’ve put together. Go ahead and take a few minutes to watch one or two. They’re the perfect solution if your day is a little too dark and gloomy or daily stresses are taking a toll on you.

3. Follow-us on Instagram

We have lots of fun snapping shots of the Island beauty that surrounds us and our glamping sites. You may not realize this, but our Adventure Ambassadors actually hang their hats on Orcas Island. That means you’ll get to enjoy cool shots of Orcas Island and Moran State Park all winter long.  Have a look at our Instagram page here.

4. Like us on Facebook

We’ve built quite a following on Facebook and do our best to keep the content coming. From photos, to blog posts, to press mentions, our Facebook page is a great source for all things LEANTO!

5. Book your glamping site

The outdoors are usually a great solution for whatever ails you. In the case of your body clock, lots of really smart folks have proven that spending time in the woods can reset your body clock. Just think, rather than have your life directed by your phone and alarm clock, you could have the evening sunsets and morning birdsong guide your days glamping.

Book you glamping trip today. You’ll have the whole winter to daydream about the ferry ride, the sunny skies, and the fresh Orcas Island air. Plus, you can imagine yourself drifting off to sleep in the great outdoors comfortably!

Take the easy way out.  ™
